Update of September 26 — Combat adjustments

⚔️ Hunt combat

The hunt's damage handling received a few modifications aimed at preventing fatal bursts of damage.

💀 Death in hunts

  • When a character dies in a hunt, their body remains in the arena until the player chooses Respawn.
  • The death screen now shows the creature responsible and the details of the last hit.

✨ Quality of life

  • The XP Boost's remaining time now shows on the status bar in a friendlier form, without that giant seconds number.
  • The hunt timer now shows hours, minutes, and seconds for more precise tracking of elapsed time.

Update of September 25 — Imbuement and Addon materials, Market filters

🧰 Item identification

Items used by the Imbuement and Addon systems now show that information directly in the item description.

  • Items used by the Imbuing Shrine display the Imbuement indicator.
  • Materials required to unlock outfit addons display the Addon item indicator.
  • When an item belongs to both systems, both indicators appear together.

⚔️ Hunt Analyzer

The Hunt Analyzer now provides a clearer session damage breakdown.

  • Damage Dealt shows the total from each basic attack, spell, and rune.
  • Damage Taken separates values by type, including physical, fire, ice, energy, and earth/poison.

💱 Market filters and stock readout

The Market's item list now tells you what you can actually trade before you pick an item.

  • A new Owned filter shows only items you hold in your backpack or depot — the same set the market accepts for a sale.
  • A new Active filter keeps only items with live offers (buy or sell), so empty books drop out of the list.
  • Rows for items you own show a small ×N badge with how many you hold.
  • The Amount field of a sell order now shows "You have N." and caps itself at that number.

Update of September 23

🏛️ A new home, a new crew

OtxIdle moved to a new server and is now run by a new management team.

  • Every character has been wiped. Characters, hunts, loot and progress did not migrate — everyone starts from zero on the new server, on equal footing.
  • We are in beta until mid-October. The game is in its testing period: expect adjustments, fixes and balance changes over the coming weeks.
  • There will be one more wipe before the final launch. Before the official release, the world resets again — so the definitive start begins with everyone at the same point.

💰 Revised rates

Two tables were rebuilt from scratch:

  • Coins: buy and sell values were revised for the new server. During the beta, buying coins is not available.
  • Skill training: training rates were readjusted too, and the training weapons' times were fixed to values closer to global.

🗺️ Maps

Small visual fixes on a few maps: tiles that did not match global were adjusted to stay faithful to the original.

💀 Corpses on the ground

Fixed a bug where some creatures' corpses did not appear when they died — the corpse now shows up on the ground as it should, and its loot comes with it 👻.

🔧 Recent fixes

  • Favorite hunt filter: the favorite filter selection is now remembered correctly.
  • Movement Skill in stats: the Movement Skill bonus now appears correctly in the player's stats.
  • Pouch protection: you can now store any stackable item in the pouch to protect it from accidental selling. When more loot of the same item drops, it is added automatically to the protected stack.
  • Skill details on hover: hovering over a skill in the action-bar selector now shows its level, cost, cooldown, effect and other details. The same information is available on equipped skill slots.
  • Automatic party exit: in Hunt Settings, enable the option to leave automatically if another party member leaves the hunt or dies, regardless of the reason.
  • Missing Blessings reminder: the Blessings button now pulses with a red ring whenever a blessing is inactive, reminding you to check the panel even when you do not have enough gold to buy it.

⚔️ Faster waves

The wait between waves is now 5 seconds, so hunts return to combat faster.

  • This applies to solo and party hunts.
  • Walked hunts keep their 2-second spawn warning inside the 5-second total.

👥 Party movement

Fixed a movement issue in narrow corridors where party members could repeatedly try to occupy the same square, causing visible flickering.

  • A stationary party member is no longer pushed aside by an unrelated movement attempt.
  • Passing through a teammate remains coordinated and atomic when the corridor allows it.

Update of September 17

🐾 Paw and Fur

The Task Board has a second tab: Grizzly Adams' hunting society.

  • 34 tasks, each one a creature to work through. Take it, hunt it, come back for experience, gold and the points that climb the five ranks: Huntsman · Ranger · Big Game Hunter · Trophy Hunter · Elite Hunter.
  • One task at a time. Unlike the daily board, a creature you have been paid for never comes back round — the list is a ladder to climb, and a finished row stays on it, marked.
  • Tasks open by rank, not by level: you see the first group whole from the start, and the next ones appear as the points come in.
  • Every rank pays a purse of gold, and reaching Elite Hunter hands over the Demon Hunter outfit.
  • Kills count from the same place the daily board's do, so hunting advances both at once. In a party, everybody is credited.

👕 Outfits

A new tab in Play / Explore: the counter where loot becomes clothing.

  • 45 new outfits to earn — Pirate, Shaman, Norseman, Demon, Elementalist, Falconer, Poltergeist, Rascoohan and more — each with the outfit and its two addons.
  • The list is one row per outfit. Click Citizen and its three steps open side by side: the outfit, addon 1 and addon 2, each wearing exactly the piece it pays.
  • Every step's bill comes as item slots: the sprite you know from your own backpack, what you hold and what it asks, green once a line is covered. Hover one and the item's own page opens, "Dropped by" included — you can see where the thing falls without leaving the tab.
  • The free and premium sets' addons are there too: Citizen, Hunter, Mage, Knight, Monk, Nobleman, Summoner, Warrior, Barbarian, Druid, Wizard and Oriental. They are the only pieces you can either buy in the Store or earn by delivering items — coins or leathers, your call.
  • The counter looks in your backpack, your pouch and your depot. Loot you put away is still loot you have.
  • Delivering is a town action. An addon waits on its own outfit: three steps, in order.
  • Store outfits stay in the Store — the 750-coin bundle already carries both addons.
  • The Golden set is paid for in gold and nothing else: 500k for the outfit, 250k per addon, 1kk for the lot. It is the one reward whose whole point is the price.

🐴 Mounts

The taming counter, beside the one that sells clothes.

  • 31 mounts, each tamed with the item Tibia itself tames it with — a Slingshot for the War Bear, Sweet Smelling Bait for the Widow Queen, Bamboo Leaves for the Tamed Panda.
  • One item, one unit. Taming is a single object used on a single beast; the rarity of the drop is the whole chase. They run from ~100 kills (Donkey) to ~10,000 (Manta Ray, whose Foxtail is the rarest loot entry in the game).
  • All forty taming items entered the world in this update: the game did not carry them before, so nothing could drop one. They now fall from whoever makes sense — the Slingshot off a bear, the Scorpion Sceptre off a scorpion, the Control Unit off a Walker.
  • Bought or tamed, never both. A mount the Store sells is not on this list, and a mount you tame never reaches the shelf.
  • The War Horse is the exception that proves it: its Sugar Oat is crafted in Tibia and dropped by nothing, so it is sold in the Store instead.

🎁 Daily Reward

  • The Exercise Weapon day now asks. Claim opens the rack of all seven training weapons and you pick — yours already selected.
  • It used to read the weapon in your hand, and an empty hand meant wraps (Fist) for everybody. A knight between weapons, a paladin crossing town with a sword, anyone who parked their gear in the depot: all of them lost the day. Bare-handed, the vocation decides now — and a knight gets the melee skill he has drilled highest.

🎨 Item tooltip

  • Every signed number is coloured now: green for what a piece gives, red for what it takes. That covers the hit bonus, the boosts and elemental protection.
  • Elemental protection became one line per element — `+4% Energy`, `-5% Earth` — instead of a single grey sentence. Ninety pieces in the game buy resistance to one element with another's, and now the trade is visible.
  • In the Encyclopedia, a tooltip's "Dropped by" shows the first 5. The item's own page still lists every source, with each creature's health and experience.

September 15 update

🧛 New hunt: Vampire Viscount

Vampire Viscounts and Vampires on the Plains of Havoc map, from Level 52 (recommended 65).

🗺️ Hunt maps

  • Walls, borders and decorations that were missing from the maps are back in more than 100 hunts. In Asura Palace the west walls return, along with the golden ornaments and the water channels; other hunts get back torches, lamps, trees and plants.
  • Hero Fortress: the red earth no longer cuts square notches into the walls, and the edges between the two kinds of earth are smooth.
  • Frost Dragon Lair and the other snow hunts: the frozen lake no longer shows gray square patches, and the ice walls meet correctly.
  • Wyrms and Elder Wyrms: where the two kinds of lava meet, and where lava meets the ground, there is an edge instead of a straight cut.

🦎 Bog Raiders

The hunt moved to the Oramond caves, 3 floors down: one open cave with only Bog Raiders. If you had a saved route there, it goes back to the default.

⏳ When a hunt ends

  • When a hunt ends on its own (out of gold for potions, out of capacity, time limit, out of hunting stamina, or nothing there can be hurt), you get a summary instead of a quick notice: time, XP, how your XP bar moved, kills, loot, supplies and balance. If the hunt ended with the tab closed, the summary shows when you come back. Free accounts see the reason and the time.
  • The "Stop the hunt when" options now switch off by themselves when the hunt ends. Monster pack and distance still apply to every hunt.
  • The Gold balance limit option was removed from Hunt Settings.

💬 Chat

Any Level can talk in Global and Trade. The delay between messages stays.

📧 Account email

  • Confirmation and password reset emails now are arriving.
  • The links in those emails last 24 hours.
  • In Settings, the Invite a friend tab is now called Account and starts with your email. If you created your account without one, you can add it there and confirm it through the link. If your email is not confirmed yet, the Confirm button sends a new link, at most once every 10 minutes. You cannot change an email that is already on the account from this screen.
  • Your invite link and the 5, 10 and 20 invite milestones are still right below, now with the Tbx Coin icon.
  • On the sign-in screen, Save login keeps your account name filled in for next time.

💰 Item prices

Some items that NPCs sell but never buy back, such as the Assassin Star, were worth thousands of gold. They are now worth what the NPC charges for them: an Assassin Star is worth 100.

🐛 Fixes

  • Ending training and heading back to town no longer disconnects you a few seconds later.
  • On the website, sign-up errors show in the page's language.
  • Energy damage over time now shows as Electrified, with the official icon.
  • The boss defeated window now shows in your language.
  • Dying in a PvE Trial no longer costs anything: no experience, no skill, no gold, and your Blessings are not consumed. The entry fee and the day's attempt are still what a defeat costs. Dying in a hunt or a boss lair costs exactly what it always did.

September 14 update

🗺️ Hunts and routes

  • Distance monsters no longer stand still trading shots with distance characters: every 2 seconds they take a step to the side.
  • The Hunt Route button next to Start Hunt now has a map icon. Inside the route, the gear next to Reset opens Hunt Settings.

🔥 Spell light

Area spells and runes of fire, energy and holy now light every square they hit, creatures' spells included. Caves show the difference most. It works with Light Effects turned on in Settings.

🛒 Store

For items bought by quantity, such as the Prey Wildcard, you can type the number directly as well as use the minus and plus buttons.

🐛 Fixes

  • Mazoran and other bosses show their real colors in the boss list and the Bosstiary.
  • The Store's purchase Confirm button now shows in your language.
